Although this bracket is Low Profile in design it can still be very easy to mount. The "hook on" design means you can mount the back plate to the wall, attach the screen mounts to your screen and then simply hook the screen on to the wall, too easy! Built to last from high quality steel with a solid construction, this TV Wall Bracket is rated to 80kg for even the larger Plasma screens available on the market today. Additionally the unit features a lockable security bar (padlock not included) to help safeguard your investment.
The MegaMounts™ easy 4 Step Guide to finding the right mount for your screen:
- First just measure your screen, the bracket is 810mm wide and the arm height is 530mm so as long as the outside of the screen is wider and taller than that, the bracket will not poke out the sides.
- Check the mounting holes on the back of the screen and measure how far apart they are. The bracket will fit screens with mounting holes a maximum of 770mm wide and 475mm high (centre to centre of the hole). If your screen fits within these measurements then it can be mounted on the bracket.
- Check the weight of your screen, if it weighs less than 80kg then the bracket can handle it's weight, no problem!
- While the Bracket is suitable for the vast majority of screens you will need to check your LCD or Plasmas owners manual to see if your screen needs a minimum clearance from the wall for hot air venting.
